Flower Petal Clay
What you will need:
1/2 cup flour
1Tbs. salt
3Tbs. water
3 cups finely chopped and crushed fresh flower petals
How to prepare:
1. Mix flour, salt, and water together in a small bowl
until it forms a firm dough.
2. Knead in flower petals.
3. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and put it in the
refrigerator for 20 minutes. Take it out and you are ready to play.
4. Make into fun shapes, air-dry 2-3 days or until it is
completely hard. You can also apply a thin layer of shellac to preserve
and add shine to you creation.
Tip:
Make them into beads and make a hole in them while the clay is
still wet. Have fun making a necklace or bracelet!
Fruity Play Dough
What you will need:
2 1/4 cups flour
1 cup salt
2Tbs unsweetened powder drink mix ( like Kool-aid )
4Tbs cooking oil
1 cup water
How to prepare:
1. Combine flour, salt, and powdered drink mix in a
large bowl.
2. Stir in the oil and water.
3. Continue stirring until the mixture is like bread
dough.
4. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead on a floured
surface 2-3 minutes until firm.
5. Store in an airtight container or plastic zip bag.
Have fun with dough that smells good enough to eat ( but don't)!!
Peanutty Play Dough
What you will need:
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup non-fat dry milk
1/2 Tbs. honey
Plastic zip bag
How to Prepare
1. pour the peanut butter, dry milk, and honey into a
plastic zip bag.
2. Close the bag and knead it until the mixture turns to
dough.
3. Do not re-use or store this playdoh.
Since it is edible, you can create animals and add raisins,
chocolate chips, or any small food to add eye, nose, and mouth to your
creations.
